QUESTION MEME

LETS HAVE OURSELVES A QUESTION MEME YOU GUYS! We've got a lot of new faces and it's a fun way to get to know each other! You don't even have to have CR to ask questions so everyone should pounce on one another. :>

Basically this is what you do!

1. Ask someone a question. It can be about character feelings, headcanon, thoughts on character quirks, first impressions, the player's favorite cheese, SERIOUSLY ANYTHING. Though RP related is prob preferred, I say go wild. QUESTIONS ARE QUESTIONS!
2. They answer and ask a question back.
3. You answer and ask another question.
4. DO THIS FOREVER.

Go at it!

You know how the Persona 4 games has that scene with the shadowselves and the character responding "NO, YOU'RE NOT ME!" and it ending with them having a begrudging acceptance that is a part of their personality? That's a lot of how Aranea sees Mindfang. There's a part of her that hates Mindfang. That despises everything she did and makes it so that she wants to deny that was ever a part of her.

And of course she knows that's not true, that Mindfang is just as much a part of her as any other facet of her personality. She's her normally subdued, ambitious half. Her Id. The part that does not care about the rules and takes what she wants, lives how she wants, fucks what she wants, and does not give a fuck. She sort of envies her for having the freedom and being the star, and admires her adventures, but also realizes that she could never be that person either. She's a dark idealization. Her shadow self. Something she wish to channel towards a better self, but never actually become.

Uuuuh... did I beat this description to death yet. xD

Ooh, that's really interesting. The whole in-universe AU, "me under completely different circumstances" thing is one part of Homestuck I loooove, and seeing one's other self as a cautionary tale is pretty damn cool characterization. :D

It definitely gives her a unique perspective of everything. xD
