LETS HAVE OURSELVES A QUESTION MEME YOU GUYS! We've got a lot of new faces and it's a fun way to get to know each other! You don't even have to have CR to ask questions so everyone should pounce on one another. :>

Basically this is what you do!

1. Ask someone a question. It can be about character feelings, headcanon, thoughts on character quirks, first impressions, the player's favorite cheese, SERIOUSLY ANYTHING. Though RP related is prob preferred, I say go wild. QUESTIONS ARE QUESTIONS!
2. They answer and ask a question back.

Unlike the Alternian trolls, we don't actually know much of the why behind Aranea's interests. In the second version, her ancestor was given a giant spider as a guardian. Her world doesn't have this. It's possible she just likes them because she feels an association with them and likes to see their spiderwebs. Or maybe she's the inspiration for spiders in general. Her name is literally Latin for spider.

Ahahaha. Crash course, then.

Kurapika hates spiders because it's the symbol of the group who massacred his entire clan for their eyes, which turn red when they're enraged. He's the only survivor. It's been stated that the sight of one can cause him to undergo a personality change. I've had him in SC for 9 in-game months, though, and I've been working in tempering his reactions. It would be difficult if he has to go berserk every time he sees an actual spider. :'D

Aah, yeah, I've read enough Homestuck apps to know about their lusus... thingies. But it would be interesting if she is the inspiration for spiders in general. XD Aranea is nice, though, so I don't really see Kurapika disliking her even with the spider association. Vriska, maybe, because her viciousness more closely resembles the people he hates.

The irony here is that in that alternate timeline, Aranea would become Marquise Spinneret Mindfang, the legendary pirate that was none to be fearless in battle and pillage, plundered, and raped anything that caught her fancy. She was Vriska's inspiration and aspiration, modeling herself to be her in every way possible. So if she's not the inspiration for spiders, her alt-timeline self is the inspiration for Vriska.

Ohhh lmao. Hnngh I wish my castmates would come back, I bet their characters would find all these spider trolls very fascinating.
