QUESTION MEME
LETS HAVE OURSELVES A QUESTION MEME YOU GUYS! We've got a lot of new faces and it's a fun way to get to know each other! You don't even have to have CR to ask questions so everyone should pounce on one another. :>
Basically this is what you do!
1. Ask someone a question. It can be about character feelings, headcanon, thoughts on character quirks, first impressions, the player's favorite cheese, SERIOUSLY ANYTHING. Though RP related is prob preferred, I say go wild. QUESTIONS ARE QUESTIONS!
2. They answer and ask a question back.
3. You answer and ask another question.
4. DO THIS FOREVER.
Go at it!

Bring it, yo.

Which I guess makes for a pretty boring answer, but there you go!
What made you decide to pick up Jules as a character?

A couple of years ago now, my friend Poptart (used to be in SC as well, idk if you remember them) played Rosemariné in
Describe your ideal RP!
no subject
My ideal RP? Pretty much anything that lets me show more than Karkat's normal front. He's always so snappish and cranky that it's kind of a relief when I get to write him as the oversensitive, caring jerk he is. Failing that, anything that gets him mad. Angry Karkat is the easiest to write. :V
Do you ship Jules with anyone in SC?
no subject
Lili, but it's more leftover from when Augustine and I played them in Sortinghat than because of what's happened in SC. France, Aurora, and Cinderella until they left. And Raidou, kind of. I can basically get behind shipping him with anybody (because only care about yaoi etc.), but those are the main ones I can think of.
If Karkat could change his blood color (see I understand Hamsteaks) what would he change it to?
no subject
oh god this got so long
I don't think he ever actually spoke to Yukiko or Rise before they left, and IIRC we didn't even have a Chie. And not that he's a kid, but Karkat knows of Adachi thanks to Matt (Canada), though his information's a little iffy in that area because Yosuke, his main P4 CR, was from the hospital-related bad end.
Souji: They only spoke once or twice, and Karkat thought he was kind of boring and didn't get why he'd hang around that noisy headphones asshole all the time (or Kurt, for that matter; he fought with him too). Souji was calm and just had some straightforward questions, which Karkat thought was oddball but rolled with.
Teddie: I don't think we had him long, but Karkat met him! And... had no idea what the fuck he was looking at, because Teddie was in costume when they spoke. Teddie kind of reminded him of Nepeta with the animal-themed puns and all. Harmless, annoying, not someone he'd go out of his way to talk to unless he really, really needed to.
Naoto: Bear in mind, Yosuke talked about the IT and formed a lot of Karkat's initial opinions for them. He knows Naoto's smart, some sort of junior agent of human justice. He also thinks she's really strange. Basically kind of categorizes her the same as Souji. Kind of bland, a little weird, someone to kind of look out for anyway since she's from Yosuke's world. Also, he doesn't know she's a girl.
Kanji: More his speed as far as humans go TBH. At one point these two have GOT to argue or talk romance. Also there was the thing where Kanji thought he was a treasure hand during a madness event and tried to murder him for his yens. But then again, another set of characters came a lot closer to killing him, and when he was partnered with a Protoss Karkat had more than one shot of pure madness, so he knows what it's like and isn't holding too much of a grudge. He's still kind of mad, but Kanji's not the worst.
Yosuke: Their CR started out so awful, what with Yosuke picking on Karkat and Karkat being a douchebag to Yosuke's friends, I'm still amazed how thoroughly it turned around in the end. They started talking because Yosuke was having romance problems, and from there they just started meeting up and talking about other stuff. Inaba, Alternia, the general plot of their canons except phrased in a more IC way. Yosuke was one of the people who were there when Karkat was at this absolute low point during Christmas, and actually saw him cry at one point. Karkat really trusted Yosuke at the end and considered him one of his few human best friends (he kind of cycles through best friends).
He took a lot of Yosuke's death out on Rose, and they still kind of hate each other, but honestly? He blames himself a hell of a lot more for knowing it was all going to end badly and not being able to stop them.
So Naoto's by far the longest-standing purse owner (from 4, anyway) in Death City. What does she think about constantly being the one left behind?
Re: oh god this got so long
Huh. She doesn't say much about it but she gets upset with being left behind. Of course, getting depressed doesn't accomplish anything. Give her a day and she bounces back mostly unlike certain people who fall plague to this emotions. Perhaps Naoto will give Karkat a fuller understanding about her world and Adachi from the true ending perspective.
no subject
But yeah, at some point Karkat SHOULD learn about Adachi. Like, he knows the killer wasn't actually the guy Yosuke got killed, but he's still pretty misinformed there.
no subject
Sure, they can have that talk. Maybe Naoto is boring but she's perhaps the first person to go to if someone needs info.
no subject
Hell yes, when infodumps collide! Now I just need something to pester her about...
no subject
Hmmm, what to pester Naoto about? Well there's always training, or did she say anything weird at the party?

So what's Aranea think of being alive again and running into all these interesting folks?
no subject
She sort of feels guilty about being alive, really. Of all the trolls, she feels her billion-year vigil was the least she could do to repay what she did to both her friends and the second iteration of trolls. Though she knows it had to happen from a temporal standpoint, she feels responsible for allowing for all the pain and suffering to happen in the first place. Still, she sees the potential for restoring people back to life, and she hopes that some of her friends will show up again and maybe make the world a little bit safer for them that'd be one more thing.
How creeped out does Aranea make Karkat?
