This meme is here to let prospective characters mingle ICly with the characters already in the game and each other. It helps us introduce various scenarios that you're likely to encounter in Soul Campaign and the different places used in the game. Hopefully, this helps you figure out if the game is really suited to your needs or not -- otherwise, just have fun!

The scenarios for this cycle are:
1. The BREW summons you into the Kishin Chamber during a power outage, along with a bunch of other strangers.
2. You're trapped in a blizzard during a mission to Greenland, and must now huddle with your partner for warmth. Your partner may or may not be someone you know.
3. You've intercepted an important piece of intel about the way to enter the witches' realm. It's kind of really embarrassing, however. Maybe you should try it out first to see if it's true?
4. Shortages are not uncommon during wars, and this time around the entire city has run out of coffee/tea/[insert character's favorite substance]. What lengths will you go to to get your fix?
5. There's a perfect mission for you on the mission bulletin board! The problem is, you're required to crossdress as your opposite gender.

Just choose any one randomly, or make up your own, we don't mind! To make things simpler, please follow this subject line:

What, again? [HD sighs, crossing her arms] Don't tell me I'm going to have to fight another giant demon to get back. Somebody filched my lipstick and I'm not going to be able to pack much of a wallop.

Not really. Replace demons with Witches and Demon Gods, then that's the solution. Weapons from your world have little to no effect on them so BREW withholds them. You'll have to acquire a Weapon here to fight or find a Meister to work with.

[charmbreak]

[the hands slide down to her hips as she twists her mouth into a disbelieving frown]

It's always something, isn't it? A dame just can't get a break around here! Why didn't you actually call somebody all gung-ho for a fight and let me relax? I'm sure that I know a couple fellas who wouldn't mind the job.

I'm not from here myself. Anyway, who BREW decides to bring and why is unknown.

Sounds like a real puzzler. [she sighs again, then perks up a little] But in that case it must've brought in one of the best guys to deal with brainteasers! You seen a fella who goes by the name Problem Sleuth around here?

[pishirogane]

I can't say I've spoken to anyone of that name past or presently. Still, it's possible he's here or has recently arrived. If the power was working, it would be simple to find out.

[charmbreak]

The power's busted, too? Sure is a swell racket you guys have going here.

[still, the possibility that Problem Sleuth is around gives her a little hope. a familiar face around here would really help out.]

There will be a reasonable explanation for the blackout later. It may be simple, but we'll get you through the process quickly if its another matter entirely.

[Don't need new arrivals getting caught in a sudden invasion.]

In my experience 'reasonable explanation' turns into 'total insanity' pretty quickly.
