This meme is here to let prospective characters mingle ICly with the characters already in the game and each other. It helps us introduce various scenarios that you're likely to encounter in Soul Campaign and the different places used in the game. Hopefully, this helps you figure out if the game is really suited to your needs or not -- otherwise, just have fun!

The scenarios for this cycle are:
1. Shibusen has run out of free residential units! You are now stuck in one of their dorms with three other people. There's no privacy at all!
2. You find yourself trapped in the Holocaust mall during a blizzard. It's not as nice as you might think when there's a kishin egg or two prowling about.
3. There's a disease spreading that gives any meister or weapon who doesn't have a partner boils on their faces. You have exactly three hours before it reaches you -- time to make use of partner activities to get one. Please indicate if you're a meister or a weapon on your subject header.
4. It's mission time! You're suddenly thrown into a mission with a stranger (or several strangers). Do you flee or fight? (Current mission board is here.)
5. Your character was brought into Shibusen with a big problem. It seems that the BREW thought it would be funny if guys were girls and girls were guys. You have to race up the Shibusen steps to get the antidote, but you have to drink it with one or more people. Apparently, BREW likes company?

Just choose any one randomly, or make up your own, we don't mind! To make things simpler, please follow this subject line:

[Oh, right. Sitting. Barnaby had long returned to doing what he always did when Kotetsu was acting strange (ignoring him, of course) when the older hero had finally returned from his moment of panic in the bathroom. Unamused as always, he just gave him a fairly deadpan look, up until the point where he found himself dragged to the couch.

He told himself that he was only going along with it because Kotetsu seemed so distressed and sat next to him on the couch. There was still enough room for the third, but the eldest ex-hero looked quite satisfied standing there... Barnaby actually found himself somewhat starstruck while looking at him from this angle.

That was seriously Mr. Legend, in their little apartment on some other world. Wow.]

Ahh, I see. [So the judge was an only child? Mental note, just in case that came in handy in the future.] Oh. We're heroes. The first hero team, actually, since we both have the same power with the same time limitation.

[Once he'd managed to get the two of them seated he'd almost been about to insist that the third former-hero join them but just as Barnaby had been struck a little at the sight of such an important figure in their presence, Kotetsu couldn't seem to find the right words to urge Legend to sit and so he simply gave up.]

M-me too, I get that! I mean I have a kid of my own-- a girl! She's not as old as yours but she's still the only one I got and that was always more than enough for me, I mean, since being a hero gets so busy and all, it got really tough-- not saying that it was like that for you, I'm sure you were able to handle it really well! And you must be really proud of the judge-- Y-Yuri! Your son! We don't talk to him a lot-- or well, I talk to him a little more but not that much but he seems like a really impressive guy! You must be really happy about that! But yeah--! Me and Bunny are a hero team! Well I started off on my own at first but then he suddenly popped up as a new guy and we got paired up together and it turned out great! Absolutely no problem! I-I'm sure you'd be a way better judge of that of course, what with your experience and all--!

[Obviously lying about their perfect little tag team duo but he's not going to go and tell his questionable idol about how bad of a hero team they were in the beginning. Also, Kotetsu's so busy babbling that he pretty much completely misses the part Barnaby mentions about "same time limitation". Good job at missing that bullet Bunny.]

[He had no problem with things as they were, though he could go for a drink right about now. Fortunately, he was strictly off the stuff given that his skin wasn't fully healed and apparently he couldn't risk thinning his blood. Besides, these two were rather entertaining.]

Hero team? [He contemplated that for a moment.] HeroTV and the CEOs will always think of something else, it seems. At least nothing changes. You two must be NEXT then?

[He couldn't help but smile at the rambling, stuttered speech about having children, and he really wondered about that man. He hadn't had to deal with awestruck people in a long time, and he found himself pleased with it. It brought up good feelings in him.]

So you have a daughter? What's her name, and how does she like you serving the city in such a way, hmm? [May as well attempt to calm the man down.] No problems? I would have thought working with someone else rather difficult; heroes have always been promoted in my day as single entities. It's probably good for some team-work.

[It sounded like HeroTV hadn't changed much; anything for publicity. And as the subject turned into 'everything Kotetsu could ramble about in under two minutes', Barnaby found himself slowly turning his head to give his partner a fairly blank look. No problems? None at all?

Was he just putting on a good face before his hero? Or did he truly see no problem in all of their failed moments and lack of teamwork. Well, he figured he could play along. So he just turned back to the Legend with a polite little smile.

Yes, Mr. Petrov, it's difficult; ridiculously so.]

It's still somewhat promoted as working alone. He and I still compete for points, despite being a team. I think, since we were the first, they're still experimenting with the idea.

Both NEXT, yup! W-well since I'm kinda up there with my years I sorta try to let Bunny handle things on his own sometimes. It's good for him, learning from your elders! And he's a good learner! The whole thing was a great idea!

[Well things worked out eventually so it's not like he's completely lying... Kotetsu lets Barnaby handle discussing most of the stuff about HeroTV and their work before swooping in again to handle the questions directed at him. You can practically see hearts and flowers floating around his head right.]

Oh--! I forgot I didn't come here with my old phone otherwise I'd show you pictures! Her name's Kaede and she's ten now and just the cutest, smartest, most precious little girl in the whole world~! She's definitely proud of me and what I do as a hero! She even told me I was cool and I thought I was almost gonna die, it was too much for me! Aah, I couldn't be a happier papa~!

[Talking to his long-time idol about his beloved daughter. This is just a recipe for disaster. Someone please stop him otherwise he's going to keep fawning all day.]
