This meme is here to let prospective characters mingle ICly with the characters already in the game and each other. It helps us introduce various scenarios that you're likely to encounter in Soul Campaign and the different places used in the game. Hopefully, this helps you figure out if the game is really suited to your needs or not -- otherwise, just have fun!

The scenarios for this cycle are:
1. Shibusen has run out of free residential units! You are now stuck in one of their dorms with three other people. There's no privacy at all!
2. You find yourself trapped in the Holocaust mall during a blizzard. It's not as nice as you might think when there's a kishin egg or two prowling about.
3. There's a disease spreading that gives any meister or weapon who doesn't have a partner boils on their faces. You have exactly three hours before it reaches you -- time to make use of partner activities to get one. Please indicate if you're a meister or a weapon on your subject header.
4. It's mission time! You're suddenly thrown into a mission with a stranger (or several strangers). Do you flee or fight? (Current mission board is here.)
5. Your character was brought into Shibusen with a big problem. It seems that the BREW thought it would be funny if guys were girls and girls were guys. You have to race up the Shibusen steps to get the antidote, but you have to drink it with one or more people. Apparently, BREW likes company?

Just choose any one randomly, or make up your own, we don't mind! To make things simpler, please follow this subject line:

[While the lack of rooms was disappointing, Martel didn't mind sharing a room with someone. It was a good way to meet people. However, when she entered into the room, she didn't expect to see her brother again]

Mithos? Is that you?

[ Okay. So he has to stay in a room with two other people. That's no big deal at all. It's better than having no room at all. But he was a bit worried with whom he was going to be sharing a room with. For a while he stayed around in the room he was in, until someone else came into the room. He turned and looked, before an expression of relief comes across. ]

Martel!

[ His own sister. He certainly doesn't mind sharing now! ]

[As she saw Mithos, a part of her had to wonder...

She heard about different timelines and thought if he was after her death or not. However, if he was before her death, it could create some problems in an environment like this. She had to approach this carefully. With a smile, she approached him]

I did not expect to see you here, Mithos. How long have you been here?

That's okay!

[willnotdespair]

[ Mithos was glad that his sister was there, and safe and sound as well. He had heard about where they were and the situation, and while this place wasn't safe for his sister, back home wasn't safe either. He would rather have her here where he can watch her, than back home where he couldn't. ]

I didn't expect to see you either, but I'm glad you're here and safe. I've just arrived here. How about you?

I arrived not too long ago either, but I'm glad that you're safe as well. It seems that the people here are rather welcoming people.

[willnotdespair]

I haven't met anyone yet. After I was told what this place was, I thought I would come here and get situated first.

[holychest]

I meant that they're willing to give us a tour about the situation.

[willnotdespair]

Wouldn't it be the same? If they're willing to give us a tour, then that means they're welcoming! Have you taken a tour of this place yet?

[holychest]

Shortly after arriving here, I have. This place doesn't seem to be as threatening as it once was.

[willnotdespair]

[ A hint of relief is seen on Mithos' face. It's good to know that this place isn't as threatening as it seems to me. ]

That's a relief. You'll be staying in this room, right?

[holychest]

Of course, why wouldn't I be?

[willnotdespair]

[ Mithos smiles ]

I'm just happy that I'm sharing a room with someone I know.

[ Not that he wouldn't mind sharing a room with a stranger, but sharing one with someone he knew really well as more comforting. ]

[holychest]

If I managed to get a room with you, then perhaps we might get lucky and have someone we know sharing our room.

[However, she was worried what would happen if others were to find out if they were half elves. It seemed that they weren't considering the many people they have taken here. At least, she hopes not]

[willnotdespair]

I feel lucky enough just sharing a room with you, Martel. But I do agree that if the others are people we know, I would consider to be even more lucky!

[ Mithos has done his best to try to push that thought again, thinking that since this was a new world, that maybe it would work differently than back home. From the information he gathered, it seems that it's not half-elves, but witches that have the most problems. As long as half-elves don't fall under the witch category, they should be fine... right? ]

[A pause]

Maybe should go look around the city to see if there are others around?

[willnotdespair]

[ Mithos nods his head. It sounds like a good idea, especially since this place is new to them. ]

Good idea. Even if we don't find anyone, then at least we'll get a better look at the city ourselves.

[holychest]

[It seems like Mithos is probably before her death, he seems so optimistic and willing to meet other people too. A part of her was happy seeing her brother like this but it does worry her that if he does go back, then he might change to what he would become in the future. She would have to tell him sooner or later but for now, she wants to spend time with her brother]

Shall we go? I don't want to leave him behind when we go out!

[willnotdespair]

[ Mithos laughed lightly at his sister, before nodding his head again. ]

I'm ready when you are, Martel!

[holychest]

[With a light giggle, she opened the door and walked into the hallway]

Only if you are! I'm not going to leave you behind if you don't want to go.

[willnotdespair]

[ Mithos smiled, before walking out into the hallway after his sister ]

Let's go! The city might wait for us, but I don't think the people will!

[holychest]

[As they walked downstairs, Martel was simply happy to see her brother returning back to his old self. Now she didn't have to worry as much. However, she can't act as though nothing has happened.]

Mithos, mind if I ask you something? What might be the last thing you remember before arriving here?

[willnotdespair]

[ Mithos looked over at his sister when she asked the question, before looking at the ground. ]

We were... about to end the war. We were heading to the ground, where the treaty was to be made.

[ They had almost made. Almost. But then he was whisked away to this place to help with another war. Mithos didn't know what to think about it. He'll gladly help, but one war after another was a bit of a burden. ]

[holychest]

[So, that's where he was. With a sad smile, Martel kneeled down to the ground and made sure that she had Mithos look at her]

Mithos, please do not worry, I have heard that time does not matter. When we go back, it will just be as though we never left.

[While Martel doesn't like the idea of being thrown in another war, she had to remain optimistic. She was trying to look at the brighter side of things]

There is still time to end both wars.

[ Mithos looked at his sister. He was trying to keep a strong face on, but he knew that if anyone was able to read him like a book, it was none other than his own sibling. It didn't stop him from trying. ]

It.. does?

[ The half-elf gave this some thought. If time does not matter, then it's just what Martel had said afterwords. She was right ]

You're right. We can help end the war here. Then, when we're back home, we can finish making the treaty and end that war. Then, I'll make the world a place where humans, elves, and those in between can all live in peace. For you, and for everyone else.

[ he wasn't going to let back-to-back wars get to him. he promised his sister that he wasn't going to fall, and he's going to keep that promise ]

There, that's the Mithos I know. I was worried about you for a minute!

[She smiled at him before standing back up. And yet, it felt so horrible to keep her death in the dark. Was it really for the best? She wasn't so sure.]
