TEST DRIVE MEME JUNE 2013
Test Drive Meme
[App Form] [Reserves Page]
This meme is here to let prospective characters mingle ICly with the characters already in the game and each other. It helps us introduce various scenarios that you're likely to encounter in Soul Campaign and the different places used in the game. Hopefully, this helps you figure out if the game is really suited to your needs or not -- otherwise, just have fun!
The scenarios for this cycle are:
1. You've just come back from a mission and it's late. All you want to do is get back to your room. Unfortunately, the moon is beginning to drool again! Run home before you get gooped, or join the local kids in a game of Dodge the Drool!
2. You and your partner's mission was going well... at first. Now you're trapped in a warehouse with a massive kishin egg sniffing the both of you out. How will you get out of this situation with your lives?
3. There's a heat wave in Death City! Temperatures soar! Even though it's a dry heat, it's still unbearable. Challenge your friends to a popsicle-eating contest or try frying an egg on the sidewalk. Either way the sun's entertained.
4. You're late for class! But the Shibusen stairs await...
5. Fastest way to find a partner is to introduce yourself with bad pickup lines. Your time starts now!
Just choose any one randomly, or make up your own, we don't mind! To make things simpler, please follow this subject line:
[CHARACTER NAME | CANON or FANDOM CHARACTER IS FROM | MEISTER OR WEAPON | SCENARIO# (or indicate if it's a new scenario)]
For example: [SPIRIT ALBARN | SOUL EATER | WEAPON | #1]
For OOC discussions and generally just chatting around, please head over here.
Here's the Soul Campaign Navigation Page for all the other information you need.
As an extra note, you may add your TD threads to your application although it is not a requirement to do so and will not count towards activity checks. Please place it under the Notes section if you do.

I never expected to see you here.
no subject
Well, I honestly did not expect to run into you here, either. [Quite literally. But he's smiling at her because it's always good to see a familiar face when he hasn't seen it for a while.]
But I guess BREW decided you were necessary, huh? When did you arrive?
no subject
I'd imagine so. [She takes his hand and then tries more cautiously to move to her feet.] I've been here approximately four days.
no subject
I've been here a lot longer. [He peers up at the moon and points skyward, still holding her hand loosely.]
The moon's had some kind of tooth problem lately, I think. We usually don't get drool showers this bad, but at least the drool is pretty clean.
[They say that one time the Moon's gingivitis got so bad great dollops of celestial drool-blood nearly destroyed a small city in Kansas.]
no subject
That's atrocious. And you've lived here in these circumstances for how long?
no subject
About half a year.
[Which is why he might seem a bit more mature than when they last saw each other. But only a bit. And in the next moment, he's frowning at her.] What's the last thing you remember from our world?
no subject
Half a year?! That long?
[But the last thing she remembers... She looks off to the side.] We went to school. [Yeah. Those are the details.]
no subject
[He sighs.] Yes, that long, so I suppose you can guess why I'm asking you what you last remember doing at home, because I'm guessing you've seen me sometime in the last six months and it wasn't here. So a little more detail would be appreciated.
BREW pulls people from different places and different times. So I'm wondering if you're from closer to when I was pulled here, or when Sugata was pulled here, or when Mizuno was pulled here.
[He shrugs with a small smile.] And by the way, Mizuno and Sugata are here, too.
no subject
We can figure that out later. Let's go somewhere else... Somewhere with less... of that. [And by 'that', she just points upward.]

Is your place far from here?
