This meme is here to let prospective characters mingle ICly with the characters already in the game and each other. It helps us introduce various scenarios that you're likely to encounter in Soul Campaign and the different places used in the game. Hopefully, this helps you figure out if the game is really suited to your needs or not -- otherwise, just have fun!

The scenarios for this cycle are:
1. You've just come back from a mission and it's late. All you want to do is get back to your room. Unfortunately, the moon is beginning to drool again! Run home before you get gooped, or join the local kids in a game of Dodge the Drool!
2. You and your partner's mission was going well... at first. Now you're trapped in a warehouse with a massive kishin egg sniffing the both of you out. How will you get out of this situation with your lives?
3. There's a heat wave in Death City! Temperatures soar! Even though it's a dry heat, it's still unbearable. Challenge your friends to a popsicle-eating contest or try frying an egg on the sidewalk. Either way the sun's entertained.
4. You're late for class! But the Shibusen stairs await...
5. Fastest way to find a partner is to introduce yourself with bad pickup lines. Your time starts now!

Yeah. Did I ever ask you where you are on the timeline, exactly? As far as I know, I'm the farthest along.

I'm not going to melt. I was just complaining. Even if it feels like I am. God, I wonder if this is how Equius felt every fucking second he was reaching for a towel.

Ah. I believe... [ An awkward pause. ] Shortly after destroying can town.

[ She's likewise pleased to have a reliable friend and ally here. She hasn't settled in or learned enough at all to truly realize the perils of the "War" they've got going on here. ]

Oh, I am quite aware. Shall we make our way to somewhere a little cooler? Perhaps, for example, somewhere indoors? Meanwhile I happen to doubt that Equius was feeling any variance in temperatures. Though I cannot begin to theorize on the reasons behind his heightened levels of perspiration, I believe he would have commented on such sensations had they transpired. [ A pause... ] Though perhaps he spared our ears from hearing such things, in which case I believe it would be wise for me to cease discussions on the topic.

[redregrets]

_[Snort.] Yeah okay.

That sounds good. Your hive might be better, since we won't have any privacy with Dave and John blabbing away at mine.

I don't even know why I brought up Equius and his disgusting habits, so yes, let's stuff our auricular sponge clots full of fluff and never speak of him again. Otherwise, with my luck, he might just show up and start talking about it.

[ RIP Can town. She shakes her head, though. ] Remind me, if you would, where in the timeline you've arrived from?

[ At his suggestion, she gives a little nod. ] My hive, then. It is worth noting in addition that you are a welcome guest at any time, should your hivemates prove to be too trying to deal with at any given time.

As for those we know simply popping up... [ She gives a hopeful little sigh. ] There are certainly some we would like to see more than others. There are worse individuals, compared to Equius, that could arrive, after all.

I'm from the end of the three years. We're just about to meet up with everyone. Of course, I got brought here before any important shit happened.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm used to dealing with Dave, and John isn't so bad by himself, but when they're together they're completely insufferable.

That's for sure. Then again, besides Lord English himself or maybe Jack Noir, I don't think anyone worse than the Condensce could show up.

[ A little nod in response. ] That makes two of us. I am certain, however, that we will make our return on time, without incident. Given how we were brought here, I doubt they would make us miss events of such importance where we were taken from.

I must say that is unfortunate. Do try your best to not shout too loudly at them, of course. Humans are different, as you know, you would not want to deafen them. [ ...That and she knows Rose wouldn't at all approve of that happening. She knows Karkat can handle himself, but she's supportive in her concern nonetheless. ]

...Ah. [ A pause. ] That is right, she is here after all. Though is she truly the terror we have come to expect? [ Serious question. ]
