Well, like in stories- knights rescuing damsels from towers guarded by dragons. You know, that sort of thing.

She is no damsel, but the Valkyrie called Odin's Witch by the Vanir. Her father cursed her to sleep. Defeating Wagner was the only way I could ensure she would never be used in his schemes again.

Oh no, not at all! It's just- most people would leave a Valkyrie to fight their own battles, whether help was needed or not.
