RULES

All right. If you had the choice, would you be a Weapon, or remain a Meister?

[hououji]

I have yet to experience combat, but I'm satisfied with being a Meister. I prefer to be active, and I think my experience might be useful in the future.

[prosecutory]

I see. But you can also be active as a Weapon, albeit in a different way. [Passive action?]

[hououji]

Of course! But, again, my experience is probably better suited to being a Meister.

[prosecutory]

[He nods, and shrugs.]

That is understandable. And I'm quite sure I will be able to learn much from you.

[hououji]

Oh, I do doubt that. I'm afraid I might have to learn everything from scratch again.

[prosecutory]

Why do you say that, despite your experience?

[hououji]

I'm only proficient in two types of weapons--bows and longswords.

[prosecutory]

Which are two weapons I have yet to learn how to use effectively.

[hououji]

Perhaps I can teach you some things about archery then! I learned that much more traditionally--I'm a member of my school's team.

[prosecutory]

That would be very much appreciated. I have only been trained in close-range combat.

[hououji]

Then perhaps we can work something out.

[prosecutory]

Indeed. I can't hope to master every weapon, but I can at least learn how to use several properly, just in case.

Of course! It wouldn't do to be in a situation where you weakness is simply not knowing something.
