RULES
01. ) Post a new comment for each character.

♥ For all truths, they will find that they can't lie.
♥ For all dares, they must complete it or otherwise, they must face a terrible consequence. This song will be stuck in their head. Over and over. Forever.

Or at least until they complete their next dare.

I don't suppose I want to know why that is.

Unless you've an unhealthy bent for predestined tragedy, no. Shall we proceed with the game instead?

[trageteas]

I think I would prefer that, thank you. I suppose it's your turn to ask me?

Indeed it is. Truth or dare?

[trageteas]

I shall take a dare as well. It's only fair.

[thorny]

Then I dare you to take a shot of ketchup. [something simple, not too punishing. she'd save the big guns for later.]

[trageteas]

[Oh, that doesn't sound bad at all.]

What's your definition of "shot" in this context?

[thorny]

[she conveniently has a shot glass! she holds it in her palm calmly]

This, all in one go.

[trageteas]

I was under the impression that sort of thing required a liquid.

[thorny]

You can mix in some water to make it more palatable if you so desire. I'm not picky.

[trageteas]

That's fair.

[He takes the glass from her and takes it to the conveniently nearby kitchen to fill it, using as much water as it seems possible to get away with.

Upon his return, he takes a good, long look at the glass.]

[thorny]

[she regards it as well, looking faintly amused] You might want to get a move on before it begins to congeal.

[trageteas]

[SIGH

Holding his nose, he gulps the mixture down as quickly as possible, chocking the last bits down in a quite undignified manner.

If he once found ketchup tolerable, never again.]

[thorny]

[Rose is, of course, politely neutral during his entire ordeal. but there's something about the way her mouth twitches that makes it obvious she's getting a kick out of this.]

[trageteas]

[When he manages to remove his face from its grimace, he hands her the now empty glass.]

The French don't believe such condiments are necessary, you know.

[thorny]

The French aren't the only cultural group interested in culinary endeavors. [she smiles beatifically as she takes the glass and returns it to whatever hammerspace she'd pulled it out of]

[trageteas]

That doesn't do anything to change my mind on the matter.

[thorny]

I didn't particularly think that it would; I was merely pointing out the fact for the sake of a broad perspective.

[trageteas]

It's good for a young person to be thoughtful, at least in cases where punishment isn't involved.

[thorny]

I should think that thoughtfulness is a desired quality of people of all ages.

[trageteas]

Of course it is, but it's a quality that often comes only with age.

[thorny]

To a certain degree. But I find those who wait so long to cultivate the trait often aren't very skilled at it.

[trageteas]

Those that attempt to do it early in life are often no better.

[thorny]

True enough. However, they have far more time to stumble through amateur mistakes and grasp onto the prize.

[trageteas]

I suppose that's your plan for your own life? It certainly seems like you think so.
