If that's all that word means to you, then you have barely begun to explore the complexity of the word. You are more than yourself and are accountable for more than just what you do. Because I have consideration for others as well as myself, I will act only in the best interest of the whole and the good of all. Conversely, your philosophy is that of a devourer. One who uses the pretense of of your actions as justification for the atrocities of others. You have thus elevated your actions above the benefit of others, putting them, and yourself, on the pedestal you are so wont to place me upon.
