Madoka Magica - About souls
For those who havn't seen it: A magical girl's soul is stored in a jewel they carry and controls their body remotely. The magical girl is actually the jewel, with the body becoming a convenient tool to get things done with. The disconnect allows the magical girls to endure pain much greater than humans and means that they don't truly die from things that would normally kill them - their body can always heal as long as the soul remains undamaged.
What happens with the whole SC soul business when it comes to the magical zombies? Does the soul stay in the soul gem? Or go back into their bodies? Or do they gain a soul as a result of SC rules? Does the Soul Gem count as a weapon? If so would it be left in their canon when they're brought over? And in that case would the soul they gain on entry be the original one that was taken from them or a new one? Would someone with Soul Perception notice anything odd in any of these cases?
tl;dr SOULS, HOW DO THEY WORK?
Sorry, that's a lot of questions, but the status of her soul is Kind Of A Big Deal for this character.
Also deleted and reposted because one of my questions involved getting my canon terms confused. I am so smarts.
