what are they looking for in a partner?→ Sapphire's approaching this from the same angle she would if she were looking for the perfect partner Pokemon, so her criteria go something like 1) can match mindsets/overall goals/problem-solving methods, 2) can match weapon form and abilities to her physical abilities and fighting style, 3) get along in general. Her fighting style is a mix of self-taught, feral-style fighting that swaps from quadrupedal movement to bipedal acrobatics and actual martial arts that she's learning from Ling. Her general strategy is to jump and run around enough that she doesn't actually get hit and score hit-and-run attacks on the enemy. Crazy agile, decently strong, downside is that she's an eleven-year-old and not suited to any heavy/huge weapon or one that forces a sturdy style.
