He wasn't certain what to think as he remained there within his father's tight embrace. Even with his suggestion to let him go, Legend showed no signs of releasing him. The thought left him frowning subtly, and he had little choice but to relax within the hold. While he didn't return it just yet, there was no attempt to break free of it either.

The final statement had his breath catching in his chest, and he felt his heart clenching at the words spoken. There was a foreign sensation felt within, one that he would never allow himself to identify, as those words washed over him.
