Yuri said nothing in regards to his father's confession of losing sight of many things. He would never say so either way, and simply allowed the topic to disappear between them. Now was far from the time from it, and he figured that they could both do with leaving that topic alone.

He paused in seating himself when asked to sit closer. Being close to anyone was something he wasn't used to anymore. Ever since that fateful day, Yuri had kept his distance from everyone as often as he could. That was why he found it difficult to move the seat closer to the bed. He did just that despite how he felt, and sat as close as he could to the bed. Sitting up straight, his expression remained impassive as he allowed his father to see him.
