This meme is here to let prospective characters mingle ICly with the characters already in the game and each other. It helps us introduce various scenarios that you're likely to encounter in Soul Campaign and the different places used in the game. Hopefully, this helps you figure out if the game is really suited to your needs or not -- otherwise, just have fun!

The scenarios for this cycle are:
1. You've just come back from a mission and it's late. All you want to do is get back to your room. Unfortunately, the moon is beginning to drool again! Run home before you get gooped, or join the local kids in a game of Dodge the Drool!
2. You and your partner's mission was going well... at first. Now you're trapped in a warehouse with a massive kishin egg sniffing the both of you out. How will you get out of this situation with your lives?
3. There's a heat wave in Death City! Temperatures soar! Even though it's a dry heat, it's still unbearable. Challenge your friends to a popsicle-eating contest or try frying an egg on the sidewalk. Either way the sun's entertained.
4. You're late for class! But the Shibusen stairs await...
5. Fastest way to find a partner is to introduce yourself with bad pickup lines. Your time starts now!

Just choose any one randomly, or make up your own, we don't mind! To make things simpler, please follow this subject line:

You...Oh god, you actually went down the stairs. And it didn't work? I thought it was supposed to work every time? Dude, that's awful. _{[He is wincing in sympathy.]} Okay, there's a couple other ways to accomplish it. You could mediate, if you have the concentration for that. Or, if you're the sensitive type, something else that might work is envisioning a situation where you need to transform, otherwise your friend or your relative or whatever is going to be killed. That's what worked for me, because I've been in that situation before. _{[A lot.]}

[There's a long, awkward pause as Nic's eyes shift slightly to the side.]

'. . . I will trying meditating then.'

[Because imagining a dangerous sitaution? He's already used to it, sob.

So, just gonna close his eyes for what lasts a few minutes before he opens them.]

'Did it work?'

<sub>[He catches that look, but doesn't mention it. He won't question his decision, especially since he tried meditating first himself.

Karkat waits patiently as Nicolas meditates, feeling a little awkward about watching him, but it's not like he has anything better to do. Sure enough, he's transformed, and Karkat isn't sure how he feels about it. On the one hand, he's jealous, because it took him forever to transform. On the other, he just helped him transform. Either this guy was a natural, or Karkat's a pretty good teacher. Or both.]</sub> You're obviously a better mediator than I am.

[If swords could smile (or at least make the tiniest slight of a curve), Nic is probably doing it right now. He did a good, yaaaay!]

[Except how does he change back now; he can't use his pad this time and his speaking leaves a lot to be desired. Not to mention that weapons can't emote in this form so all it looks to everyone else is just a katana on the ground not doing anything.]

<sub>[He's a katana. Karkat can't believe it. Dave is going to want to work with this kid for sure, and if any more Striders show up, he'll have to remember to recommend this kid to them.

He remembers freaking the fuck out about transforming back, so he goes ahead and explains how, even though he's not sure if he's been asked about that yet.]</sub> Transforming back is easier. You just have to do the same thing, but in reverse. It helps to picture yourself in your head like you're supposed to be.

In a matter of moments, he changes back perfectly!
